Close for Coppice

Another eventful night at Alfreton Leisure Centre saw Coppice emerge victorious again by taking the Y3/4 medium schools title but it wasn't as easy as they were expecting with William Gilbert only 30 points behind them in a thrilling competition. However, William Gilbert were impressive over the track amassed 710 points 80 more than Coppice (and one race would have made the difference i.e 4 seconds to take the title) but they were unsuccessful in their quest for the title and for another year the trophy narrowly finishing 30 points behind. 1st Coppice 1190 (560 Field & 630 Track) 2nd William Gilbert 1160 (450 F & 710 T) 3rd Waingroves 1100 (450 F & 650 T) 4th Little Eaton 1060 (400 F & 660 T) 5th Smalley 870 (480 F & 390 T) = 6th Codnor 720 (340 F & 380 T) = 6th Kilburn Jnr (340 F & 380 T) = 6th Heage (230 F & 590 T)   Positons 9-11 Herbert Strutt 680 (290 F & 390 T) Leys Jnr 480 (270 F & 210 T) Woodbridge 510 (250 F & 260 T)
