Corfield Infant clinch KS1 Football trophy in Heanor cluster event!

After a fantastic evening of football at Aldercar High School it was Corfield Infant who were victorious in a high standard of competition!
The event was aimed at introducing and developing football skills to year 1 and 2 students in a competitive environment using small sided games and adapted rules to simplify the game!
The results were fantastic to see as each team showed great improvement throughout with some brilliant play both in terms of scoring goals, but more importantly in tactical and technical understanding
Corfield produced a strong performance to leave the competition with a 100% record and the trophy in tow, they finished ahead of a strong Howitt Primary side as well as edging out Richardson Primary, Codnor Primary and Coppice Primary
Codnor Primary took home the spirit of the games award after showing brilliant honesty to the referee on a number of occasions
Well done to everyone who took part!
Full Results:
1st: Corfield Infant - 12 points
2nd: Howitt Primary - 9 points
3rd: Codnor Primary/Richardson Primary - 4 points
5th: Coppice Primary - 0 points
