Riddings Junior become Y3/4 Borough Tennis champions!

Riddings Junior followed up their success in the Alfreton cluster competition to claim the Amber Valley Tennis title by once again pipping Curzon Primary in the closest of competitions
The four schools in attendance qualified for the finals through their excellent performances in the cluster competitions hosted at Belper, Heanor and Alfreton with Riddings Jr and Curzon Primary joined by Codnor Primary and Pottery Primary at the finals
Once again players competed against one another in singles matches with their results contributing towards a team score
Curzon were dominant in the boys league whilst Riddings bossed the girls league meaning the competition came down to just a single point between the schools
Pottery performed brilliantly to just clinch 3rd spot in Amber Valley ahead of Codnor Primary
Well done to everyone who took part and good luck to Riddings Junior in the Derbyshire County final
Full Results:
1st: Riddings Junior - 25 points
2nd: Curzon Primary - 24 points
3rd: Pottery Primary - 18 points
4th: Codnor Primary - 8 points
